About Us

Cache Creek Elementary School (CCES) is a small, vibrant K–7 school located on the traditional territory of the Secwépemc Nation. We serve just over 120 students from Cache Creek and nearby communities including Ashcroft, Bonaparte, Walhachin, Loon Lake, Pavilion, and Marble Canyon.

As a close-knit school, we value connection, inclusion, and hands-on learning. Approximately 53% of our students are Indigenous, and we actively partner with Elders, Aboriginal Student Support Workers, and local Nations to ensure Indigenous perspectives are embedded throughout our classrooms and school culture.

Our students take part in meaningful, land-based projects, like building Indigenous plant gardens and growing food, designed to connect learning to community and place. We emphasize multi-age and cross-grade activities that foster relationships and strengthen our sense of belonging.

Colorful murals inside and out reflect the unique identity of our school and its learners. With dedicated staff and strong community ties, CCES is more than a school, it’s a place where every student is supported, respected, and encouraged to thrive.

We will provide targeted support and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, ensuring equity and inclusion across the district. Strengthening partnerships with families and local organizations will create a supportive learning environment that extends beyond the classroom.
